Request for Support – Native Hosting and Viewing of Unit Test Coverage Reports
in progress

Hi Harness Team,
As we adopt Harness for CI/CD, we’re facing challenges with unit test coverage reports (JaCoCo, Istanbul, Cobertura, etc.). Today, making these reports viewable requires either making storage buckets public (a security risk) or building custom hosting solutions, which reduces developer experience and creates overhead for every team.
We’d greatly benefit from a native Harness capability to attach and serve static artifacts (HTML/CSS/JS) securely within the pipeline UI, governed by RBAC. This would remove the need for workarounds and provide developers with direct, consistent access to coverage results.
Is this functionality planned, or is there a recommended Harness-native pattern we should follow?

Hello,
Specifically for code coverage reports - Harness now provides the ability to upload code coverage reports and view them alongside executions. You can find more details in our documentation here: https://developer.harness.io/docs/continuous-integration/use-ci/run-tests/test-management/ci-code-coverage/
This idea is tracking a broader feature is currently in progress that will allow users to upload various file types (such as .txt and .html) to Harness-owned storage and view them directly in the browser via the Artifacts tab. This is currently in progress and on track for a Q3 delivery (Aug-Oct 2026).

Hey Sourabh,
Thank you for bringing this up. We are looking to tentatively deliver this feature in Q4 (this would be CI specific) and will keep you posted soon as its implemented. You can also get early access to this feature once its ready for Beta.
I've linked the Jira to map and track this request.
Thank you
