Not the original requestor, but I'd like to see these show up on the page of a module in the module registry in the header -- Perhaps to the left of the created/updated block

We understand that you are looking for Module download stats in the registry, we do offer these stats in the custom dashboards which can answer questions like: What workspaces uses a specific module, Count of Workspaces that leverages a specific module, What is the spread of versions per module that are being used etc. Please let us know if that fits the use cases you are trying to achieve.
