When repositories are ingested at the org level (for example through a GitHub App that pulls in every repo), there's currently no supported way to exclude specific repositories, such as test or sandbox repos with long-running PRs, from Productivity insights (PR volume, PR cycle time). The only workaround is changing the ingestion integration itself to select repos individually, which isn't practical at scale with hundreds of repositories.

We'd like a way to scope which repositories feed Productivity metrics independent of how they're ingested, similar to how filtering already works for other insight types. Without this, teams with a mix of active and test/sandbox repos see skewed productivity numbers, which undermines confidence in the metrics as adoption grows.
